- Provides good tensile strength.
- Good toughness.
- Provides good weldability.
- Offers good processing properties.
- Low carbon steel, provides good resistance to impact
- Better brittle resistance
Description
Type 430C stainless steel is ferritic steel, with high strength and good resistance to impact. Type 430C provides a minimum yield strength of 265-275Mpa and good tensile strength of 410-560Mpa.
It is mainly used in the construction of bridges and buildings. This type of steel provides better resistance to brittle, which makes it more expensive.
Type 430C offers good plasticity and toughness and has good processing properties. It is suitable to be cold formed. It is readily weldable and provides good machinability.
